    THE LEGACY VARIES

Both Prince William and Prince Harry have continued Diana's legacy in different ways.

Diana, the peoples princes, was the first of the Royal family to have physical contact with someone suffering from AIDS, during a time when there was fear that the disease could be spread from human contact.

Diana also did work for numerous charities and spoke up against the use of land mines after walking through an Angolan mine field.

In an interview with the Telegraph, Angela Levin said: "Now they are focusing on the memories of her and her beliefs that seem to support their own separate world views."

She added: "Much of Harry and Meghan’s charitable work goes through their Archewell Foundation, which has a commercial slant that seems to break Her Majesty’s rules for senior royals. It would be unthinkable to imagine William behaving that way.

"Is Harry’s determination to do things how he pleases a sign that he wants to follow in his mother’s footsteps as a rebellious royal?"

PRINCE HARRY ‘PREPARED TO ADMIT HIS SHEER TEMPER PLAYED PART IN WILLIAM AND KATE RIFT’

PRINCE Harry is prepared to admit his sheer temper played a part in his rift with William and Kate, a royal historian has claimed. The brothers will reunite on Thursday when they unveil the memorial statue of their late mother together, on what would have been Diana’s 60th birthday.

Ahead of their meeting, Robert Lacey, the author ofBattle of Brothers, has said he believes Harry is the only one who may be ready to admit mistakes and contrition for his behaviour over the past two years.

"It should surely be possible for both sides to say the past is in the past. It's very regrettable that Meghan doesn't withdraw just a little. Why can't she say it was the pressure? "I was getting used to this incredibly complicated system, I was just pregnant, I couldn't sleep"...."Perhaps in retrospect I went over the top about it".”
