Wimberley over the 4th of July Holiday Week
The Jubilee Parade, come one come all!The 4th of July parade is always a treat!
This year the Jubilee parade takes place on Thursday, July 4th. The parade begins at 10AM. Great viewing along the entire route but especially between Brookshire Bros and the Wimberley Square on RR12. Ozona Bank Parking area is also a great spot to camp out. This annual Wimberley parade includes trailers, cars, bands, animals, or walking entries that roll down RR 12 in the morning sunlight. Plan to come on out and watch the parade, grab a hat, bring a chair and your friends. You can enjoy the parade online with 20 years of parade slideshows here. There are more to be seen!

Dining in established and new eateries through out the area, beer wine and spirits available at local galleries, coffee shops, distilleries, breweries, bars and hotels. Watching the weekends fire works displays, participating in or viewing the annual 'Jubilee' parade, these are but some of the activities that folks come to experience in Wimberley Texas.
Getting wet in a river, Canyon Lake or a swimming pool is a great way to cool your heals in Wimberley. The VFW rodeo is but one of the memoriable events that occur in
'Our Little Piece of Heaven'.

For fun in the water, visit Blue Hole Regional Park, open to the public on a 4th of July extended weekend. (Be sure to confirm that the area is open for swimming before planning this activity.)
Swimming in the Blanco Riveris also a great way to 'cool off'. Several Inn's adjacent to the Blanco offer day passes for guests and visitors, check out 7 A Resort. River access is somewhat limited in the area, however follow Wayside Drive west to 'Slime Bridge' and you may be able to join other water revellers in the cool Blanco River.On Cypress Creek we have two wonderful lodges, Cypress Creek Cottages and Creekside Cabins, both offer access to the calming waters of Cypress Creek.
If a swimming pool sounds more attractive, Starlight Horizon over in Canyon Lake has just opened up a fantastic pool which includes A Spacious Deck A Tanning Ledge a Dedicated BathroomHil Country Views Free Wifi Yard Games + Fire Pits and it is 4 to 6 Feet Deep.

The Blanco Brew opens up their parking area for a monthly Coffee and Cars Out-of-Doors Car Show. Automobile enthusiasts young and old, display their vehicles in a relaxed small town atmosphere.
The 78th Annual Rodeo will conclude this Sunday evening. Plan to attend if you haven't already done soand don't forget the fireworks display!
